So Ford gives you the choice of four active exhaust audio settings on their Mustang models: Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Track.
Decibel Ratings of Exhaust Audio Sounds
The Quiet start mode has the softest sound at 72 decibels, while the Normal setting maintains 82 decibels. Sport mode generally gets used in the evening time on the way home from work. It gives that extra evening pick me up that drivers often need. Track mode is rated at 86 decibels and is a good fit for use on the racetrack.
